Trunity's content sharing approach is perfect for creating shared libraries of lesson plans either privately shared within a school or district or publicly shared for anyone using the Trunity platform. In the CAMEL project, for example, lessons and student projects are developed using shared content from the Encyclopedia of Earth. Instructors create detailed lesson plans using the Add a Teaching Resource authoring tool which allows them to add their own content, bring in published content, filter for topic, grade level, teaching materials, resource type and other searchable criteria. All of this information is freely available on the web to educators and students. Trunity users have the additional ability to create their own projects and curriculum libraries for immediate classroom use.
