Students can log into a course site to access course materials and media, enter or upload assignments, get access to the class calendar containing assignments, deadlines, and test dates. Forums, blogs, messaging, and comment options allow students to interact with Instructors and peers in the class.
Instructors interact with students one-on-one via the messaging system or through access to a student's individual portfolio. The instructor also communicates via course calendar, group messaging, forums, blogs, and commenting on the student's work. Exams and surveys can be created with timed launches and deadlines for student access. Individual progress can be monitored through the student gradebook, while group progress can be tracked through a cumulative test results view.
